What is Orunodoi Scheme?
- 'Orunodoi' or Arunodoi Scheme is another plan of Government of Assam to be propelled on second October 2020. 'Orunodoi' plan will give Financial Assistance of Rs. 830 every month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) plan to around 17 Lakh Families in the state. They will get the sum on the primary day of consistently, beginning from October 2020. Women being the essential overseer of the family are kept as recipients of the plan.

Assam Orunodoi Scheme 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The applicants have to fulfil the following criteria, to get the benefits of the scheme.
1. He/she must be a permanent resident of Assam.
2. He/she must be presently residing in Assam.
3. Composite Household Income of the Applicant should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh per annum.
4. The beneficiary (nominated female member) should have a bank account wherein the name in the bank records should match the scheme records. In case, the beneficiary does not possess a bank account then a bank account would be required to be opened prior to the date of approval of the application.

7. Families who own two or three-wheelers, tractors under self-help groups can avail the benefits.

5. Former and current MLA/MP.
6. Members of Urban Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions.
7. Employees of Government Service
8. Family paying Income tax.

Benefits of Orunodoi Scheme Assam

Selection Process of Arunodoi Scheme
The District Level Monitoring Committee may devise modalities for setting up the rundown of qualified recipients carefully according to the Guidelines.
